I am experienced in strategic leadership and management within development environments in professional sport, giving me strong experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning, as well as supporting students to achieve their potential. I understand that every learner is different, so I adapt my approach to suit the individual.

Through my practical experience and experience academically, including postgraduate qualifications in Football Academy Management and Sports Management with a focus on Player Care, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence as they progress.

Lessons typically combine clear explanations with practical activities, questioning, discussion, and regular feedback. I like to make sessions interactive rather than simply delivering information, ensuring students are actively involved and able to apply what they have learned.

Whether a student needs support with a particular topic, wants to build confidence, or is working towards a specific academic goal, I will provide clear guidance, encouragement, and a structured approach to help them make consistent progress.

I can support students with practical strategies to improve their learning, personal development, and future employability. This includes developing effective study habits, time management, organisation, goal setting, resilience, motivation, communication, and problem-solving skills. I encourage students to take ownership of their learning and develop the confidence to recognise and overcome challenges. Through my experience as a leader, I understand the importance of developing not only academic knowledge but also the wider skills, behaviours, and attitudes needed to succeed. My aim is to help students become more independent, confident, adaptable, and well prepared for further education, training, and the workplace.
