I am a very methodical tutor. I make sure that first principles are in place to give a strong foundation to learn more complex topics. I have made bespoke infographic learning aids to help students visualise content- these are tried and tested techniques that I have developed and used over 20 years of teaching. These aids are annotated with the key words and phrases that need to be used to gain full marks in exams.
I have collated databanks of past questions ordered by topic, all with template answers to achieve top marks. These are also shared with students. Practising writing answers containing all the keywords is essential to gaining the higher grades needed to secure places at the most prestigious universities. I work with students to train them to write answers that include all the points listed on the mark schemes.
I am a friendly, approachable tutor and really be my kind repeating things or answering questions…I will go above and beyond to help my students feel fully prepared for exams.
