Dr Jawairia Zafar

I am a dedicated psychology educator and researcher with experience teaching psychology-related subjects at the university level through interactive and student-centered online learning. My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and intellectually stimulating, helping students not only understand concepts but also apply them in practical and academic contexts. I believe effective learning takes place when students actively participate, ask questions, and connect theoretical knowledge with real-life experiences.
In my classes, I use a variety of teaching methods including discussions, presentations, reflective exercises, case studies, problem-solving activities, and practical examples. I adapt lessons according to students’ learning styles, academic levels, and individual goals to ensure an effective and comfortable learning experience. My teaching approach encourages critical thinking, active participation, confidence building, and independent learning.
I have academic and research experience in areas such as personality psychology, psychological assessment, research methods, social psychology, behavioral studies, and religious psychology. I am actively involved in research projects focusing on resilience, narcissism, impression management, defense mechanisms, and psychological well-being among Muslim adults. I have also participated in curriculum integration activities, academic discussions, journal clubs, and study circles that strengthen collaborative and reflective learning.
Alongside teaching and research, I have experience developing assessments, supervising academic tasks, and preparing educational materials for university students. My research interests have contributed to academic writing and publication-related work, enhancing my ability to teach students how to think critically, conduct research, and communicate ideas effectively. My goal is to create a motivating and enriching learning environment where students can grow academically, professionally, and personally.
