With over 19 years of teaching experience in Higher Education, I am a passionate and dedicated educator specialising in Economics, Accounting, Finance and Business Studies. I have taught learners at T level, A level, undergraduate and postgraduate levels across a wide range of business disciplines, helping students develop both subject knowledge and the confidence to apply it in real-world contexts.

My teaching philosophy centres on creating a supportive, engaging and personalised learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential. I recognise that learners have different strengths, learning styles and academic goals; therefore, I adapt my teaching approach to meet individual needs and ensure concepts are explained clearly and effectively.

I employ a variety of teaching methods, including one-to-one tutoring, practical problem-solving exercises, case study analysis, interactive discussions, exam-focused revision techniques and real-world business applications. For Economics and Finance subjects, I simplify complex theories and quantitative concepts using examples from current economic and business environments. In Accounting, I focus on developing strong numerical and analytical skills through step-by-step explanations, worked examples and practice questions. For Business Studies, I encourage critical thinking, evaluation and application of theory through contemporary case studies and discussion-based learning.
