Douglas Allan

I have committed my whole professional life to learning and teaching. I am passionate about all aspects of what happens in classrooms and meeting students’ needs. I enjoy the interactions of my own classroom and constantly reflect on why my teaching/learning process is sometimes more successful than others. First and foremost, I am a teacher who is committed to being “better”. I was secondary trained in Britain but have been fortunate enough to have taught a wide range of students, in many parts of the world, and learned to adapt and be effective in these different circumstances. Thus, I am an innovative teaching practitioner with a robust and grounded philosophy of teaching and learning.
