Doris Gonzalez

I'm Doris Gonzalez, a native Spanish speaker from Argentina.

It's my passion to meet new people, express myself, love good food, dance, have great conversations, hear the sound of the ocean in my city... There are many things I love doing, but one of the most I love is teaching... It's always exciting for me to compare teaching to going on a trip. It's not just about learning new words, but also about learning a whole new way of living... It's about people, culture, and costumes; it's like opening a window to the world.

We are all capable of learning if we are given the necessary motivation, if we are enthusiastic and if we have a good teacher! I am a cheerful, enthusiastic and fun tutor. I believe that I have the ability to generate self-confidence in students, so that they are not intimidated to learn something new.

My teaching method is completely communicative. What does it mean? That we are going to use Spanish in real life situations such as shopping, travelling, visiting the doctor, enrolling in an academy, introducing ourselves, debating and many other important and necessary topics for effective communication in Spanish. I have authentic material, games, videos, songs, audios and many other things to motivate students and have fun while learning.
Classes are adapted to the needs and pace of each student, so all classes will be personalized.

Traveling with my students along the way until they achieve their goals is what I enjoy most about my job!
