My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, pace, and skill level. I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your creativity while building strong foundational drawing skills.

Each session follows a clear, step-by-step structure. We begin with core techniques such as observation, line work, shape recognition, and proportion, then gradually progress into more advanced areas like shading, texture, depth, and composition. I believe that simplifying drawing into manageable steps makes it more accessible and helps students build confidence from the very beginning.

I combine live demonstrations with guided, hands-on practice, so you’ll be actively drawing throughout the lesson rather than just watching. I encourage open communication, questions, and experimentation, making each session interactive and personalised. Lessons can also be adapted to your interests, whether that’s still life, fashion illustration, or more expressive and creative drawing styles.

With my background in womenswear fashion design, visual merchandising, and ceramics, I bring a practical and creative approach to teaching. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of form, structure, and visual storytelling, which I incorporate into my lessons. I focus not only on improving technical skills but also on helping you develop your own artistic voice and confidence.

I also provide constructive, encouraging feedback and optional exercises to practice between sessions, allowing you to continue improving at your own pace. My goal is to make drawing feel enjoyable, achievable, and rewarding, while supporting you in building both skill and confidence over time.
