Hello, my name is Dilshodjon. I am 22 years old and I am from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I have been teaching English for the last 2 years and I have gained somewhat "Experience". When I started teaching, I used to apply GTM - Grammar Translation Method in my classes, which worked good enough for students' grammar exams. Alongside Head Teachers, I was teaching and learning at the same time. Later on I changed my workplace and joined a big corporation where I learned to teach in different ways using no L1 (student's first language). Having completed their training program, I started working in a new company and there I started applying different language teaching methodologies and methods I studied at university and courses.
During my lessons I mainly focus on student talking time and I always try to stick to the rule of 80/20 - 80% of the time students talk and 20% of the time the teacher talks. This really helps students enhance their fluency in the target language and boost their confidence in daily conversations. At the same time I help my students improve their reading, listening and writing skills using variety of materials and sources.
I prefer to teach what students need than what they want and with it, I have taught hundreds of students so far.
