**My approach to drum tutoring**

Hi! I'm Diego, a drummer with formal academic training in music. My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student's individual goals — whether you're picking up a pair of drumsticks for the very first time or looking to refine your technique at a more advanced level.

**Teaching methodology**

I believe that great drumming starts with a solid foundation. My approach combines music theory fundamentals — such as reading rhythmic notation and understanding time signatures — with hands-on practical playing from day one. Each lesson is carefully structured to balance technical exercises, coordination drills, and real musical application, so students always feel challenged but never overwhelmed. I adapt my style to suit each individual: visual learners, those who prefer learning by ear, and students who thrive on repetition all get a personalised experience.

**Lesson structure**

Each session lasts 60 minutes, giving us enough time to warm up properly, work on technique, introduce or consolidate new concepts, and play through real songs or patterns. Progress is tracked consistently so every student knows exactly where they are and what they're working towards.

**Who are these lessons for?**

Absolutely everyone. My lessons are open to all ages and all skill levels — from young beginners who've never sat behind a drum kit, to adults returning to music, to intermediate and advanced players looking to break through a plateau. No prior musical knowledge is required to get started.
