My lessons are very flexible, meaning that I will consult with my students how they want their lessons to be conducted. If they do not have any preferences, then I will provide material to read and discuss during class. My goal is to make the student speak as much as possible and to encourage them to ask questions as we go (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, etc.).

The first tutoring experience I had was when I was 16 years old I taught my younger sister how to read in Spanish. My first formal experience was when I was in college and began tutoring children with Down Syndrome elementary-level reading, comprehension, and math. It has been by far my most rewarding tutoring experience. During my sophomore year in college I was an intermediate French tutor at my university for my peers. I have more than 6+ months of experience tutoring English online to students of all ages (the youngest being children of 5 years old). Last but not least, I have an experience working as an Au Pair in Paris, France where I spoke in English to the children I took care of. Not only did I speak to them in English, but we also sat down and had formal lessons in which we focused on pronunciation, grammar, and expanding their vocabulary.
I am very passionate about language-learning, given that I have two native tongues (English and Spanish) and I speak French as my third language. Additionally, I have studied German, Italian, and Korean. This is all very important to keep in mind because it conveys that I have a lot of experience not only in tutoring languages, but also learning them; thus, I have been on both sides of the dynamic.
