Diahann Alvarez

I am a pharmacist with more than 10 years of experience in customer service, which has allowed me to develop the ability to communicate well with others and provide my knowledge through pharmaceutical education.
I am from Costa Rica so my mother tongue is Spanish.
During my years of studies I was always very talented in the area of literature, so in my free time I helped many family members and friends by giving them classes with my knowledge.
At the moment I am doing a course on teaching Spanish online.
I am very interested in sharing my knowledge of the language with other people, as I consider that I have a lot of capacity to do so and I have always had a passion for helping others.
My proposal as a tutor will be to make it clear to the student that I am willing to give them the necessary support to improve their current situation with the language and to show them what they will be able to do when they finish the course.
As working material I will use various learning support tools such as podcasts, articles, videos, games, letter writing, emails, messages and grammar practice exercises.
Having knowledge of the language levels I consider that I have the ability to develop as a tutor at the following levels:
LEVEL A1 Beginners.
The A1 level of Spanish Language is aimed at students with no knowledge of the language. The aim of this level is that you can interact in a simple way, ask and answer questions about yourself, about the place where you live, about the people you know and the things you have.
LEVEL A2 Basic.
You can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas which are particularly relevant (basic information about yourself and your family, shopping, places of interest, occupations, etc.).
LEVEL B1 Intermediate.
At B1 level you can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest to you. You can describe experiences, events, wishes and aspirations and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
