Devin Reardon

My experience includes actively working now as an English as a foreign language teacher. I live between Dublin, Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland. I am an experienced teacher, beginning studies in Edinburgh in for a masters in Music Therapy. I am very eager to teach, and I have taught adults, teenagers, and children, and enjoyed all groups.

My teaching includes time in Ireland and in Italy. As I said I have a great passion for teaching, but not only English, I have a good deal of teaching experience in other subjects. I have taught English, Theatre, Guitar, and Voice lessons. I have a degree in Environmental Science and Sociology (Bs) from one of the top state universities in the USA, Florida State University. As well, I studied arts in middle and high school, making me a well-rounded person, musician, and lover of the arts. I enjoy teaching in groups and individually, both face to face and online.

I have been living and working in Ireland for four years. I will be only in my course 3 days a week, so I will have a good deal of time for work. I I was born and raised in Saint Augustine, Florida in the United States with an Irish mother.

I have a great deal of enthusiasm for work, and I work well with others. I appreciate the responsibility of teaching, while bringing a fun, constructive, and caring energy to the classroom. I understand the learning process, and I know to get the best results one must be patient, utilize well-planned lessons, stay engaging, be a bit of fun, and have compassion.
