I will work around you, and your specific needs to build the learning environment that you deserve. Lesson plans will be devised based on how you learn best, and delivered in a way that will allow me to teach to the best of my abilities. I will offer guidance and support where necessary, but will always suggest you try alone first after I have throughly explained the topic.

I will use a variety of techniques in the first few lessons to gauge how you learn best (with older students this can be done through discussion but if they are unsure we can use the trial and error method too). Lessons will be a mix of listening, speaking, reading and writing, some parts may be pre-recorded, in PowerPoint form, or have other visual aids.

I will work together with the student to adapt my lesson plan to work for them, and teach in a way that helps them to not just remember, but understand the things they are being taught. Understanding is my biggest goal with lesson plans so everything will be fully tailored to each student based on their age, level and needs. I will always try to push my students a little out of their comfort zone but nothing more than they can handle as I find that slightly difficult material tends to be more engaging and I want my students to have confidence in themselves.

I have always been passionate about English and I hope to be able to help students find their own interest in the language, and reach their learning goals.
