My background in both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Dentistry has given me a strong understanding of IB and IGCSE Biology and what students need to do well in their exams. Having completed the IB myself, I understand the challenges students often face and the study methods that can make learning more manageable and effective.

I am familiar with exam techniques, including how to structure answers, utilize command terms, analyse and identify different question types. I also understand the importance of using IB mark schemes effectively to identify what examiners are looking for and how students can gain the maximum number of marks.

My teaching style is flexible and centred around the individual student. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt my lessons based on each student's strengths, weaknesses, and goals. I like to keep explanations clear and straightforward, while also providing condensed notes, practice questions, and past papers to help students apply what they have learnt.

I also aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and actively engaging with challenging topics.

I believe tutoring should be more than simply memorising content. I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind concepts and develop the ability to think critically, especially when approaching unfamiliar questions.

Ultimately, I want my students to improve steadily and build confidence in their abilities. With the right support, consistent practice, and effective study methods, I believe every student can make meaningful progress and work towards achieving their full academic potential.
