When teaching mathematics, I employ a variety of approaches to ensure that every student can engage with the subject in a meaningful way. By utilising a broad range of strategies, including the maths mastery approach, I can address the diverse learning needs present within my classroom.
This diversity in teaching methods enables all learners to connect with mathematical concepts more effectively. By providing multiple entry points for understanding, students are supported in their progress and can build confidence in their mathematical abilities. Furthermore, these approaches equip them to apply their skills successfully in new environments, such as classroom assessments and testing.
Varied Strategies for Spelling, Reading, and Grammar
I use a range of strategies to teach English spelling, reading, grammar, and sentence structure. Through these varied approaches, students enjoy the learning journey and can apply their skills confidently within the classroom to further their development.
Since May 2025, I have worked as a supply teacher across various primary schools in Bradford, gaining valuable experience across all primary key stages. This has broadened my understanding of different age groups and educational settings and has enhanced my adaptability to deliver effective lessons and support pupils’ learning, regardless of their background or ability.
