My teaching methodology involves using power point presentations, showing relevant videos and involving the students in varied activities to enhance concept comprehension and clarity in the field of Psychology. I am a sincere, dedicated teacher who uses Structured teaching coupled with discussions of the applicability of the learning in daily life to create interest and curiosity towards the subject and enhances the learning experience. Over the years I have successfully taught a wide range of topics like General Psychology, Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Psychopathology, Therapeutic Methods, Usage of different psychological assessments for various conditions, Psychological report writing, for predominant tests etc. I try to ensure that I incorporate extra information during the teaching process which may go beyond the prescribed curriculum to make the learning experience more meaningful and wholesome. Having taught a diverse population of students over the years ranging from high school, undergraduate to post graduate students it has been easy for me to connect well with them and understand their learning goals. The fact that I am a psychological counsellor adds value to the teaching process as I perhaps am in a better position to gain better understanding of their needs and aspirations as well as what they actually intend to achieve by studying Psychology. Tailoring the course to align with the students' aspirations, expectations and their path to goal attainment is something which is important to me. This aids the students to get the content delivered to them in the manner that is most suitable to them.
