I will always start with the basics and then go in depth. So even if the student is already familiar with the subject or topics we can always brush up on the basics. Also if the student is not prepared then starting with the basics will help to be confident in the topics. Since I had Biology in my bachelor's I have in-depth knowledge of the subject. I believe in understanding than just memorizing. If you can understand even one topic then there will be no need of memorizing. Everyone has that one subject they are not confident about and if that subject is biology for you, I can make you confident in Biology.
