I have recently completed my GCSE's, in May of 2023. I tutored some of the other students in my year, creating slideshows and creating worksheets, and providing some extra knowledge that is unable to be covered in class.

I have always worked with those I am teaching. I can easily adapt my lessons to further accommodate for extra requirements, and I can also sit with you and discuss what you want to take from my lessons.

I create engaging PowerPoints which try to break down incredibly complex and demanding topics into bitesize pieces of information. Every PowerPoint will be shared after the lesson along with some questions that can be answered. If the student wants more, I can do whatever I can in order to facilitate their request.

I am really passionate about biology and I love learning and teaching it. Teaching to others has always been my best tool of revision, hence why I did it a lot for GCSE, and I feel that like those I taught, a lot of biology is just understanding the basic concepts and the rest after that is about consolidating and going over and over, doing exam practice and working towards the best possible grades.

I also will provide external reading resources that allowed me to secure knowledge but also to be able to expand on my current knowledge. For example, for students who are achieving and aiming for grade nines, I will start to introduce them to more complex topics, like for example with the heart, rather than knowing the names of the group of valves, I will teach you the individual valves and this will help you to secure that grade nine that you desire. Or if you are interested in a certain career in science, I can provide you with some reading materials related to your exams but will also be enjoyable as it is in relation to a career path you aspire to take.

I can teach both GCSE and KS3 students in biology.
