I have a Degree in music and I also have have Diploma's in Counselling, Psychology, Trauma Healing Practice and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have experience in lesson planning and great organizational skills. I am a great believer in encouraging people to be the best that they can be without judgement and can help in developing and uncovering the tools that are needed for students to reach their real authentic self. As a student, it can be difficult to knuckle down and focus on tasks and getting assignments in on time. And, often times stress and anxiousness can be a deterrent, and procrastination may set in. But as a student, it is important to try and strike a balance. Prioritizing study time, getting plenty of fresh air, exercising and having a half descent diet and having healthy relationships with peers can be more than useful and productive. Not only to have a positive attitude to the task at hand (assignments and exams) but also having a healthy and positive view of oneself, others and the world. As a former student myself, I found at times things quite daunting. However, the fact of gaining knowledge, researching and discovering new things and being able to communicate with my teachers and lecturers was always my driving force as well as meeting people from different backgrounds opened up my view and understanding of the world.
So, making sure that students are in a good place ( not anxious or stressed about anything, and if so , lets talk about it or signpost the student to the appropriate place).
Look at how the student spends their day.
Set up a lesson plan.
Arrange study time perhaps with some classical music playing in the background ( It really helps for home study)
Make sure student is eating healthy and keeping a good balance with study and recreation times,
