Davide De Santis

As Head of Music at London Park School Mayfair, my students achieved First Place in the ISA Music Composition Competition for two consecutive years, competing against hundreds of schools across the United Kingdom. My work as a composer and recording artist has also generated over three million streams worldwide and has been featured on major platforms including BBC One, ITV, Sky TV, Super Bowl 2026, Red Bull TV and NFL programming. This combination of educational leadership and active industry experience shapes the way I teach and connect with students.

My lessons are highly practical, structured and creatively focused, designed to develop confident, independent musicians. Each session centres on real music creation, with students actively composing, producing and refining original work from the very beginning.
I use industry-standard software including Logic Pro, Ableton Live, GarageBand and Soundtrap, guiding students through professional techniques in composition, songwriting, recording, mixing and production. Lessons are structured around clear creative objectives, but allow space for individuality, experimentation and artistic identity.

A key feature of my teaching is the integration of real-world music practice into the learning environment. Students are encouraged to think like working musicians, developing both technical ability and creative confidence while understanding how music functions within contemporary media, film and commercial contexts.

I have taught students ranging from beginner level through to advanced pre-university musicians, and I consistently focus on helping learners build portfolios of original work. My aim is that every student leaves with completed music, practical skills and a clear understanding of how to progress within the modern music industry.
