David Sanchez

I am a passionate Spanish teacher with hands-on experience in schools such as Callerton Academy and Monkwearmouth Academy, where I have supported lesson planning, created audio-visual materials, and provided individualised student support.

I love using innovative tools—especially Artificial Intelligence—to create engaging and personalised learning experiences. I design songs, videos, games, and interactive activities that help students feel relaxed, confident, and motivated to learn Spanish. I also record short videos of myself in real-life situations (such as ordering food in a Spanish café) so students can hear and see authentic, everyday Spanish in action.

Beyond the classroom, I actively take part in Spanish cultural events in Newcastle, where I prepare traditional dishes like paella and help lead community activities. I enjoy bringing language and culture together, and I love helping students discover not just how Spanish is spoken, but how it is lived.

My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and student-centred, and I always aim to make learning enjoyable, practical, and meaningful.
