¡Hola! I’m David, and I’m here to help you fall in love with the Spanish language.

I was born and raised in the beautiful Canary Islands, so you’ll be learning from a native speaker with a clear, natural accent. I’ve been teaching for over 15 years and hold both QTS and CLTA qualifications. This means I’ve spent a long time perfecting the balance between professional structure and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.

My lessons are all about you. Whether you’re a complete beginner starting from scratch or looking to polish your intermediate skills, I focus on creating a pressure-free environment. I want you to feel confident making mistakes, because that is exactly how we learn! We’ll spend plenty of time speaking to build your conversational confidence, but I also love to pull back the curtain on the "why" of the language. If you find grammar intimidating, don't worry; we can simplify the trickiest parts of Spanish into something manageable.

Our sessions are typically 1-to-1 and held online. I specialise in working with adults and primary-aged children, focusing on general communication rather than strict exam-board coaching. This keeps our dynamics flexible and tailored to what you actually want to talk about.
