I always begin by getting to know the student, then I proceed to find out both their level in the language as well as his or her talents. I do this to save time, not bore anyone, and most importantly, use what the student is already good at to start from there. I always begin by getting to know the student, then I proceed to find out both their level in the language as well as his or her talents. I do this to save time, not bore anyone, and most importantly, use what the student is already good at to start from there. Learning a new language is already challenging enough, the best approach is to start by bringing some comfort into the setting. From there, we start to review new concepts in a way that they can be applicable and usable so that they can be actually grasped. I really like to tailor my lessons in such a way that the student can use the language to a purpose they find enjoyable, this way learning will be much more seamless.
