32 years teaching experience from university Foundation Year, HNC, Degree Apprenticeships and years 1, 2 and on various BSc programmes to taught and research based MSc programmes. Have supervised PhD. researchers also.

Approach to teaching and learning via interactive presentations, discussions, feedback on draft work and more. PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams during an online session typically but can vary to suit, e.g. audio only.

Can provide support with generic study skills, time management, written English and grammar, critical analysis, and more. Citation and referencing formats. Research methodologies and methods. Employ, among other pedagogical approaches: Online synchronous face to face discussions, presentations, subject tutoring, examples, interactive activities, e-Learning activities, quizzes and more. Asynchronous contact via email discussions also provided 7 days a week. Though responses to email questions may not be immediate I endeavour to reply within 48 hours.

I will be prepared to include weekend sessions where possible.

Tasks may be set before and after sessions to enhance learning.
