I am available to teach primary level Maths and Literacy. I will always start by assessing where your child is in their learning, through fun and engaging experiences. What I find out here is very valuable in allowing me to assess what the next steps should be. I will always share my assessment findings and plan with the parents and carers before progressing any further, so that we are all on board in working towards shared goals.
As each child is an individual with individual needs, my lessons are tailored to be unique. For this reason, I cannot at this point offer an accurate idea as to what lessons with your child would look like. What I can say is that each lesson will use a range of appropriate resources and pedagogical approaches. I will always focus on building a positive relationship with your child to support their level of engagement and progression.
It has become somewhat of a speciality of mine to tutor children with Additional Support Needs and I have a lot of experience in this field, so if you're wondering if tutoring can be accessible to your child and their needs, please just get in touch and we can discuss it.
