I hold a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
I have been a GCSE and A-level biology and general science tutor for over 10 years, and I have examiner experience. I have over 25 years teaching experience in both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
I have taught for all the main examination boards in the United Kingdom and internationally (AQA; Pearson Edexcel; OCR; and Cambridge International).
I follow these steps in my tutoring:

1. Help students understand the examinations they are about to take
2. Examination Coaching and specification coverage.
3. Examination Coaching implementation
4. Examination Practice.

My lessons are structured to support understanting of content and application of content to examination questions. This is provided in a friendly and supportive environment where students can ask questions and also work independantly.

Lessons are covered using the students' individual specification which they are examined from. This ensures accuracey of content covered and questions practiced on.
