Hola! I'm a fluent Spanish speaker, born and raised in Spain, and I know exactly what it takes to succeed in GCSE and A-level Spanish because I sat the exams myself, achieving an A at A-level. I'm currently studying Biomedical Science at university, so alongside my language skills, I bring strong academic discipline and a structured approach to learning.

My lessons are tailored to each student's exam board (I'm familiar with AQA, Edexcel, and other common specifications) and current level. I usually start by identifying specific weak points, whether that's verb conjugations, subjunctive mood, listening comprehension, or exam technique, and build a plan around them rather than following a generic syllabus. Expect a mix of grammar practice, past paper questions, and genuine conversation practice, since speaking confidently is just as important as writing accurately for the exam.

Because I grew up speaking Spanish natively, I can help with authentic pronunciation, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context that textbooks often miss: things that make a real difference in the speaking and listening components. I also know from experience how nerve-wracking the oral exam can be, so we'll do plenty of mock speaking practice to build confidence before the real thing.

Lessons are relaxed, but focused: I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes, since that's how you actually improve. I'll set light homework between sessions to keep momentum going, and I always check in on what's been covered in school so our lessons complement classwork rather than repeat it.
