Daniel Drizen

Hi, I'm Daniel, an Imperial medical student passionate about helping others to reach their full potential! I teach Biology, Chemistry and Maths as well as offering interview preparation tutoring for aspiring medical students. My method of teaching involves being patient and friendly while structuring lessons specifically to the student's needs and to their exam board.

In addition to this, I aim to instil in students the same passion for the subject that I have developed myself. I achieved nine Grade 8/9s at GCSE, including Grade 9s in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and went on to achieve three A*s at A level in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Alongside this academic background, I also have a year of tutoring experience, during which I have helped students build both confidence and genuine interest in their studies. I have helped students who were previously stuck on grades 6/7 achieve grades 8 and 9.

Our sessions will always be tailored towards you. You can expect practice questions and clear explanations of concepts. I try to make lessons as interactive as possible with opportunities to ask questions. I also switch up my teaching style depending if you are a visual learner or an auditory learner, or however you learn best. I will help to identify your strengths and weaknesses and work on strategies to improve upon weaknesses. I teach all Maths, Biology and Chemistry before and up to GCSE level in 1-hour sessions (first session free!) and I am committed to helping my students achieve the grades they deserve!
