I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2009, and throughout this time I have gained extensive experience working with learners from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds. My qualifications include the Cambridge DELTA diploma, which is widely regarded as the gold standard in English-language teaching. This advanced training has given me a deep understanding of language acquisition, classroom methodology, and course design, allowing me to support students effectively at every stage of their learning journey.
My career has taken me across several continents. I spent many years living and teaching in various parts of Latin America and Asia, where I gained valuable insights into the specific challenges learners face when studying English from different linguistic backgrounds. In addition to my in-person teaching experience, I have also worked remotely with companies and students based in Russia, Italy, and Belgium. Currently, most of my learners come from countries throughout Europe, although my online classes continue to be wonderfully international.
Over the years, I have taught hundreds of students, each with their own goals, motivations, and stories. My past learners include doctors, pilots, air traffic controllers, diplomats, scientists, software developers, sales professionals, business executives, children, teenagers, university students, and many more. I have delivered lessons in a wide variety of environments, such as universities, high schools, middle schools, private language academies, corporate offices, and individual tutoring settings. This broad range of teaching contexts has equipped me with the adaptability and experience needed to work successfully with virtually any type of learner.
At the heart of my teaching philosophy is a dynamic, student-centered approach. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all method; instead, I tailor my lessons to each learner’s unique needs, preferred learning style, goals, and personality. I carefully observe how students interact with different tasks, and I adjust my methods accordingly—whether that means focusing on communicative practice, real-life situational language, structured grammar explanations, pronunciation training, academic writing, or guided conversation.
My flexibility as a teacher allows me to create lessons that are not only effective but also engaging and enjoyable. I strive to build a supportive atmosphere where students feel confident to take risks, ask questions, and challenge themselves. By shaping the learning experience around each individual, I help students make steady, meaningful progress and develop the skills they need to communicate effectively and naturally in English. My goal is always the same: to ensure that every learner feels empowered, motivated, and excited to continue improving their language abilities.
