My lessons are structured, personalised, and focused on building a deep understanding of mathematics. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement through targeted questions and discussion, then create a clear plan to guide our sessions. Lessons are delivered in an interactive format, using video calls, screen sharing, and digital whiteboards, along with visuals such as videos and animations to explain complex concepts in a simple way.

I break down topics step by step, ensuring students understand the “why” behind each method rather than just memorising procedures. We work through examples together, followed by guided practice to build confidence and independence. I teach a wide range of levels, from early years to university, and adapt my approach to suit each student’s learning style. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, overcome difficulties, and develop both confidence and strong problem-solving skills in maths.

I also regularly review previous topics to reinforce understanding and ensure long-term retention. Homework and practice questions are carefully selected to match the student’s level and learning goals, helping them apply what they have learned independently. I provide constructive feedback and exam-focused techniques where needed, especially for students preparing for tests. My aim is not only to improve grades but to help students become confident, independent learners who can approach maths with clarity and a positive mindset.
I also encourage students to think critically, ask “what if” questions, and explore different problem-solving strategies, making lessons engaging, dynamic, and highly interactive.
