My lessons are structured, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs, abilities and goals. As an experienced Mathematics teacher and secondary school leader, I understand how to help students build confidence, strengthen understanding and make meaningful progress.

I teach KS3 Mathematics, GCSE Maths (Foundation and Higher), and A Level Maths (Edexcel). Every lesson begins with retrieval practice through a ‘Do Now’ activity, revisiting prerequisite skills and reinforcing prior learning. This helps students build secure foundations and identify any gaps in their understanding.

Lessons then focus on developing knowledge and skills through clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and independent problem-solving. For exam preparation, each lesson focuses on a specific topic and includes exam-style practice questions, helping students apply their knowledge, address misconceptions and develop effective exam techniques.

I also have experience supporting students with special educational needs, adapting my teaching to meet different learning needs and abilities. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and tackling challenging problems independently.

Whether a student wants to consolidate classroom learning, close knowledge gaps, improve their grades or prepare for GCSE and A Level examinations, my approach combines clear structure, targeted practice and high expectations to help every student reach their potential.
