I have experience privately tutoring IB Biology, and would love to help more people develop a passion and deep understanding of Biology that I feel I have now at university. I believe that the best way to learn is visually, especially with the number of processes and extent of content at GCSE and IB level, which is why I try to teach using a whiteboard and follow up with practice questions to integrate the information properly into my students' memory. It is important though to go at the pace of the student which is why a personalised plan is so important when I first talk to them. As I am finishing my second year in university, I feel that I have tried a good majority of the learning methods recommended to me over the many modules that I have studied on biology, and without a doubt speaking the information aloud, whether that is to yourself or another, is so helpful for memorisation which is what I hope to achieve with my students.
