Daiki Morihara

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and practical. I like to adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals and interests, rather than follow one fixed style for everyone.

A typical lesson may include conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, or preparation for JLPT N5/N4. I can also use textbooks such as Genki, depending on what works best for the student.

I have around 9 years of teaching experience in Japan as a secondary school teacher, mainly teaching Japanese history, and around 2 years of experience working in education in the UK. I currently teach Japanese privately to secondary-age students and adult learners.

Online lessons are usually 50 minutes. I also offer a free 20-minute online introduction and short trial lesson, so we can talk about your goals and decide the best way to start.
