I bring practical experience supporting young people through church youth programmes and peer guidance, where I helped students strengthen confidence, self-awareness, and personal discipline. These experiences shaped my coaching approach — calm, encouraging, and focused on helping students build habits that support both wellbeing and academic progress.
My sessions follow a coaching format. We begin with a short check-in to identify how the student is feeling and what they want to focus on. From there, we set clear, achievable goals and work through practical strategies such as prioritising tasks, planning study time, managing distractions, and building a confident, growth-focused mindset. I use open-ended questions, reflective conversations, and gentle accountability to help students recognise their strengths and take responsibility for their progress.
The dynamics of my lessons are collaborative and student-centred. Instead of simply giving instructions, I guide students to think, reflect, and make independent decisions. We review progress each session, celebrate small wins, and address challenges with supportive problem-solving. I also introduce mindset tools such as reframing negative thoughts, confidence-building exercises, and resilience habits that students can apply in real-life situations.
My coaching style is especially suited to students who feel overwhelmed, unmotivated, or uncertain about their direction. I provide structure, encouragement, and steady guidance, helping them feel grounded, focused, and capable of growing both personally and academically.
