I hold a Master’s degree in Genomic Medicine from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, giving me strong subject expertise and a clear, structured approach to teaching even the most challenging topics.

I specialise in GCSE and A Level Science, with a strong focus on exam technique and mark schemes. My students typically improve by 2–3 grades through targeted practice and clear, exam-ready explanations.

What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps, adapt to each student’s learning style, and ensure consistent progress through accountability. My lessons are designed to build confident, independent learners who achieve top grades.

Each lesson begins with a quick assessment of the student’s current understanding, identifying whether the main challenge is content knowledge, application, or exam technique. This allows me to tailor the session to their specific needs.

I then break down complex concepts into clear, simplified explanations, ensuring the student fully understands before moving on. Throughout the lesson, I use targeted questioning and active recall to check understanding and reinforce learning.

We then apply this knowledge through exam-style questions, focusing on how to structure answers and meet mark scheme requirements. This helps students develop confidence and exam technique alongside their understanding.

To ensure continued progress, I set personalised homework, including exam questions, revision resources, and clear strategies to support independent study between lessons.

I have extensive experience teaching online on zoom, having supported students remotely even before Covid and I am highly confident using interactive whiteboards.
