Cora Liu

I’m Cora, a student majoring in Chinese International Education. I specialise in teaching Mandarin to learners of all ages, from absolute beginners to intermediate students.

My lessons are tailored to your personal goals. Whether you want Mandarin for travel, daily conversation, exam preparation or cultural interest, I will adjust the pace and materials for you. I focus a lot on pronunciation and tones at the start, as tones are the foundation of spoken Chinese. We will practise real-life dialogues, vocabulary, listening and simple grammar step by step.

I believe language learning should not be boring. I like to bring Chinese culture into class, including festivals, stories and daily customs, so you can understand the culture behind the language. I am patient, friendly and good at explaining tricky points clearly.

Lessons are online. Before each class, I will prepare learning materials. After class, I give short homework and feedback to help you keep progressing. I welcome learners with no prior Chinese experience.
