My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each student’s level and goals. I combine clear explanations with plenty of practice so that students build confidence in all four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
I am a qualified MFL (Spanish and French) teacher and also a trained speech and language therapist. This background allows me to support students not only academically but also in developing clear pronunciation, communication strategies, and confidence when speaking Spanish.
I have years of experience teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation, and I work with students of all abilities.
Lesson Format:
We begin with a short warm-up to review previous content and activate key vocabulary.
I introduce new grammar or vocabulary in a clear, accessible way, using examples and modelling.
Students practise through guided tasks, speaking prompts, translation, and short reading or listening activities.
We finish with a brief recap and a personalised target for the next lesson.
Content & Dynamics:
Lessons follow the KS3–KS4 progression, aligned with GCSE exam skills.
I use a mix of textbook resources (e.g., Viva), exam-style tasks, photo descriptions, role-plays, and creative activities.
Students get regular feedback so they understand exactly how to improve.
I encourage active participation, but always at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.
