My biology lessons are tailored to suit students from Key Stage 2 up to A-level, with a strong focus on building both understanding and confidence. Each session is structured around the student’s individual goals and learning style. I typically begin with a short review of previous material to reinforce key concepts and identify any gaps before moving into the main lesson content. I use a variety of teaching tools such as diagrams, animations, and visual aids to explain biological processes in a clear and engaging way.

For younger students (KS2–KS3), I focus on making biology fun and accessible. Lessons are interactive and creative, incorporating games, drawing, and practical examples to help them develop curiosity and a solid foundation in scientific thinking. I also use positive reinforcement to encourage active participation and build a love for learning.

At GCSE and A-level, I help students deepen their understanding by breaking down complex topics and linking them to exam board specifications. I emphasise the development of key skills like scientific vocabulary, data interpretation, and exam technique. Regular practice with past paper questions, guided feedback, and active recall strategies are a core part of my approach.

I have experience tutoring students from 4 -18 years old, with different learning aids, levels, and abilities, and always adapt my teaching to meet their individual needs. Whether a student is aiming to catch up, improve their grades, or achieve top marks, my lessons provide a supportive, structured environment where they can thrive and develop confidence in biology.
