Lessons would focus on standard topics of which they are currently studying in lessons at their schools, but with deeper depth into it and exposing them to what questions (depending on the marks) can be asked and how to solve them. If the student has any requests for what topics they would like to study if say they struggle in one ( eg: Circle Theorems) then lessons would be redirected into basic level understanding to try and gain an early working memory of how to solve or remember before slowly increasing the difficulty so they can learn at their required speed where it isn't causing unnecessary stress, diverting their attention. Otherwise my focus would also be completing a past paper after each lesson before the next where we can spend the first 10-20 minutes analysing there strengths and weaknesses and correcting missed marks to creative a more adaptive environment within lessons just so no topic is left as a "throw away" and they at the bare minimum have a grade 4 understanding of each topic necessary at they will surpass that minimum target in others so we can push them from if they were predicted a 4 to a 5-6. I also though am in there age group by being possibly only 1 year older to only 3, meaning I had also faced the issues of the addictiveness of social media, meaning I can try to provide the student and you techniques in order to study more, scroll less all in need to maximise their grades.
