I am passionate about helping students build confidence and improve their language skills in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
During my classes I would first create goals with the student and then create the most efficient route through which we could attain those goals. I, myself, have experience with learning languages with different techniques and I find that there is no one size fits all technique. I would create and tailor, with the student, a regimen that combines personal interests with specific exercises. We would start by creating a strong base with grammar, conjugation, sentence structure and find a way for them to keep their motivation and interest high.
For more experienced students we will se how we can apply their skills to their professional goals as well: writing texts and presentation, specific theme and interest-based vocabulary lists (business, art, architecture…), helping with translation, proper pronunciation... We can incorporate art, culture, pop culture, history as desired, so that the student gets a full leaning experience of the French world and can support their own academic work as well.
You will get to converse with a native French speaker and learn how to sound natural and practice formal and informal conversational skills.
I have experience teaching my friends French and have seen very fast, steady improvement from them throughout this year.
I am a very open and optimistic person, and I want my classes to be a space to grow without any added stress in your life. Learning languages can be a fun, easy experience!
