Claudia Mackey

Hello, my name is Claudia, and I’m delighted that you are considering starting your English or Portuguese learning journey with me. These languages have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember — not just as tools for communication, but as gateways that open doors, connect people, and build confidence in both personal and professional life. I have seen how learning a new language can help someone feel more comfortable in conversations, more capable at work, and more connected to the world around them. I teach because I believe deeply in the power of communication, and I want to help you experience that same sense of growth and possibility.
As a CELTA-qualified teacher, I understand how adults learn best: through clear guidance, structured practice, and supportive interaction. I enjoy breaking down grammar into simple, practical steps and helping learners discover that English or Portuguese are not something to fear, but something they can use confidently in everyday life. Whether you are a beginner who feels shy speaking or an intermediate learner aiming for more natural fluency, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of your progress.
If you’re ready to build confidence and enjoy learning, I’d be honoured to guide you.
