I worked in the countryside in a bilingual nursery for 2 years as Spanish preschool teacher, then I moved to London where I become Spanish nanny. I have got a lot of experience teaching Spanish to children but working as Spanish nanny to non Spanish speaking parents, awakes on my the curiosity to teach the adults to speak and understand the language, so I took a course in teaching Spanish as a foreigner language, to complete my teaching studies and be able to teach adults.
The best way to learn a new language is through the things that we like. We can use a text book to guide the process and have a proper base of the knowledge, but I like to know about the students interests and hobbies to prepare lessons focused in the things they like, using music, books, magazines articles, movies…to make the lesson more dynamic.
