Life can be challenging sometimes. Having a patient empathetic ear to bend, a shoulder to lean on and someone with a few more years of life experience to bounce our situation off, can be a great relief and support for us all.

With 20 years' business experience and a professional career dedicated to people and team development, I've realised that humans of all ages, cultures and backgrounds have moments on their journeys when we can really benefit from a coach and mentor. Since becoming a step-mum two years ago, I've become more curious and invested than ever in what it means to play this role for students and young people, as you move through some pretty momentous earth-shifting transitions.

Primarily, I come from a Communication, Emotional Intelligence and Strengths-based Psychology standpoint. What does this mean? It means that what I intend to do, and most of the time do pretty well, is listen attentively to your story, hear the unique strength and beauty beating inside you and reflect this back to you.

The aim of my job here is to remind you (and to get this message across to the core of you, past all those layers of doubt) that you're perfect just as you are. Across 100s of individuals I've encountered in the corporate, entrepreneurial and therapeutic worlds, I've found that remembering to focus on where we're strong and where we find joy, is often enough to take a step forward with more confidence and clarity.
