Hola! My name is Claire Gaspar, a fully qualified Spanish teacher with over ten years' experience in person & online with a real love for the language. Spanish isn't just my subject, it's part of my life. I earned my degree in Mexico City, hold a Spanish diploma from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and married into a Mexican family, so I bring genuine, lived fluency to every lesson, not just textbook Spanish.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive and tailored entirely to you. Whether you're a complete beginner, building confidence for conversation, or working towards GCSE or A Level (I know the latest AQA specification inside out), we'll set clear goals and work towards them at your pace. I blend speaking practice, useful grammar and real cultural insight, so you're not just memorising words, you're actually communicating.
I'm known for being calm, patient and encouraging. I'm especially good at putting nervous learners at ease and helping people who have struggled before finally feel they can do it. For ambitious students, I love adding stretch and challenge to push you further. In my last school, 93% of my class hit their target grades, and I bring that same high standard online.
Most of all, my lessons are warm and human. I love Spanish!
