Bonjour ! My name is Claire. I am a French native recently moved to England, and I offer personalised French lessons online or in person for adults, teenagers, and children.
I have 2 masters, one from Sciences Po Paris, one of France’s most prestigious political science schools, where I graduated with honours and a Master’s degree in Media Studies from ESCP Paris Business School.
Alongside this academic background, I taught emotional intelligence at Lyon University for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes for 2 years, facilitated workshops, created and ran a forest school in south of France for 2 years.
My teaching style is playful, interactive, and rooted in learning through experience. I believe language is not only something we study intellectually, but something we live, feel, and practice. My lessons combine conversation, games, storytelling, role play, movement, and real-life situations to help students build confidence naturally while enjoying the process.
My approach is inspired by emotional intelligence, creative writing, somatic awareness, and group facilitation. I also have more than one year of experience in one-to-one coaching, which allows me to adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, rhythm, and personality.
I create warm and non-judgmental spaces where students feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, laughing, and progressively finding their own voice in French.
Whether you are:
preparing for exams,
learning French for work or travel,
improving your speaking confidence,
or simply reconnecting with the joy of learning,
I would be happy to support your journey.
For me, learning a language is also a way of discovering new ways of thinking, expressing oneself, and relating to the world.
