I am a Biology (B.Sc) graduate from Indonesia, currently taking masters (Plant Sciences, M.Sc) in the Netherlands. I have experience as a Research and Innovation intern in a pharmaceutical industry for a few months, doing particularly microbiology research. My bachelor's thesis also mainly focuses on microbiology (probiotics) research; Isolation of Lactic Acid Bacteria from Local Goat's Milk. Moreover, I am also in the process of publishing a manuscript of my thesis results. Although I am Indonesian, I am fluent in english and I took TOEFL iBT exam with a total score of 107/120. I have experience in tutoring first year (undergraduate) students as well as high school students. The content of the lessons will be specialized according the student's curriculum, and needs. I usually use 3D simulation for laboratory methods and practices, diagrams for biology mechanisms and processes so students can better visualize and understand the concepts. I will also give fun quizzes and mock exams so students are also well prepared for their exams and give corrections if needed. I would also give tips and tricks to memorize and understand better. The length of the study per session will be maximized to 1 hour as I want the students to study efficiently. It is also important for the students to review the materials after the lessons, but I would also explain in a way that it is easy to understand with interactive powerpoint presentations .
