I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker borned in the capital city of China, which I have a standard pronunciation of Mandarin. I have solid teaching experience and a flexible, student-centred approach. My lessons are carefully structured yet dynamic, combining clear objectives, interactive practice, and tailored feedback to ensure students make visible progress in each session.

In terms of lesson format, I usually begin with a short diagnostic or warm-up to understand the student’s current level and needs. The main part of the lesson focuses on targeted language input—vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or cultural context—followed by guided practice and real-life application, such as role-plays, scenario dialogues, or short writing tasks. I always end lessons with a concise review and personalised follow-up suggestions.

For students learning Mandarin out of personal interest, I emphasise practical communication and cultural immersion to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable. For professionals who require Mandarin for work, I focus on functional language, industry-specific vocabulary, and cross-cultural communication. For children seeking bilingual education, I use stories, games, and visual materials to build natural language intuition. For exam-oriented students, I provide structured training aligned with syllabus requirements, exam techniques, and targeted practice.

In addition, I have strong handwriting skills and won multiple national calligraphy competition. This allows me to teach correct stroke order, character structure, and even Chinese traditional calligraphy, which help students develop both accuracy and confidence in written Chinese.
