Most of my lessons are conversational, following an almost call-and-response style where the learner presents an issue or topic, and we discuss solutions together. This dynamic encourages active engagement and ensures that learning is tailored to each student’s needs. I teach English to all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, adapting the pace and focus depending on the individual.
I have over three years of experience teaching early years and have served as a lead educator for children under five. In addition, I hold a TEFL certificate and have taught ten-year-olds in preparation for SATs. I am currently pursuing a qualification specifically focused on teaching learners over 14, which allows me to continually refine my approach for older students.
Lessons are a minimum of 30 minutes, but they can be extended based on the student’s needs and goals. While I do not provide formal materials, I may set a short quest or task at the end of each lesson to help learners consolidate and extend their understanding independently.
My teaching style is flexible and student-centered, aiming to build confidence, clarity, and practical skills. Learner goals vary depending on the individual; some may focus on conversational fluency, while others aim to strengthen exam skills or academic writing. By maintaining an interactive, responsive approach, I ensure that every session is engaging, productive, and specifically designed to support the learner’s personal growth.
