I have a degree in Applied Languages and a CELTA certification. I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for 4 years now, both online and in person. I am currently teaching in a language school in Manchester where I teach adults of all fluency levels. I am available for General English classes, pronunciation classes, grammar classes , IELTS preparation, Cambridge Exam preparation, conversation classes and Business English classes. I prioritise the use of authentic materials in my lessons. I want my students to make a connection between what they are learning in the classroom and the outside world. I can teach groups of up to 10 students, 1:1 lessons, couples and friends. My lessons are student focused so you will be doing a lot of the communicating, I will just act as a facilitator to your learning! I cater my lessons to my students needs. I have worked with students from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I have taught speakers of Arabic, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese and many more linguistic backgrounds. I always keep the linguistic requirements of my students in mind when teaching and cater these requirements to each student. I also have working knowledge of German and Spanish so this can come in handy when teaching speakers of either of these!
