I use a communicative approach, focusing on real-life use of the language to help learners gain confidence and fluency. At the same time, I’m passionate about helping students develop a strong understanding of grammar, as this supports independent learning and leads to a deeper understanding of how the language works.

To support vocabulary development, I begin each class with a short conversation that reviews and reuses vocabulary from the previous lesson. I then introduce and explain a grammar topic, followed by guided practice activities. After that, we work with listening and reading materials to make sure you're improving in all four skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while also reinforcing what you've learned.

I have experience as a corporate trainer, private tutor, classroom teacher, and university lecturer. This means I can adapt my teaching style to suit your learning preferences and goals.

At the end of each class, I will provide you with feedback notes to help you making progress and on which I will base the next class.
